About Momma

Currently, Red Dwyer is busy writing her opus, coaching clients to personal and business success and trying to find time to spend with her grandsons.

Red spent too many years managing retail stores across America in some of the world’s toughest markets.  The focus of her jobs was turning troubled stores back toward profit and personnel balance through quality control.

Retail followed an extended trip through the legal system as a degreed paralegal.  Louisiana is the only American state under Napoleonic law.  She knows the difference.  Her experience in family law and criminal law brought her to the Southern District appellate courts in cases involving child paternity and the death penalty.

Growing up in a family business of earth moving, Red learned the principles of good business practice, ethics and finance long before her first degree: Accounting.  Knowing how to drive a bulldozer is just a plus.

In the meantime, Red has found time to be a parent.  Red is Momma to thirteen children.  She is also Momma Bear to many adults.  She answers questions about child rearing and discipline readily.

Special needs children strike close to home for Red.  Three children are on the autism spectrum; two who are bipolar; two suffer with hypothyroidism; one had HGH therapy; one has had a kidney transplant and the youngest died of an intercranial bleed and other complications of severe prematurity.

Throughout everything, Red has been a writer and editor.  From ghost writing for newspapers; dabbling in poetry; editing fiction and educational novels; drafting and proofing legal documents; writing articles for magazines, corporations, newspapers and the Web; citizen journalism for the Web; writing her books Taming the Terrible Twos: A Parents’ Survival Guide; and Mantra for a Muse; to her most recent projects writing a new book of poetry, an erotic sequel, a how-to book and a thriller novel, Red has written millions of words. More than 1,000,000 are here on The M3 Blog. Overall, it is an interesting tale.  Check out her identity awareness at My Answer.

Three new books were debuted in the Redmund Productions’ launch: Killing Us Softly, Darkness Introduced and Flash in the Pan.

Killing Us Softly: Becoming the Surviving Spouse of Cancer is an intimate look into the endgame of cancer. Not your typical grief book, KUS bares the emotional, spiritual and physical evolution which occurs when caring for someone who is dying before you.

Darkness Introduced is an erotic novel taking place in the American BDSM world. DI looks into the comparison of the newly initiated and the life timers. The first in a series currently planned of five books, DI’s reviews put it firmly in the hot category, even considering the subject matter is far from kind.

Mantra’s Book of Shadows offers a look into the darker poetic side of the fairy muse. Straightforward, thought-provoking and sometimes twisted poetry speaks to the darker side of human nature and passionate truths of attributes lurking in the shadows. Revenge, loss, grief, and bone chilling portrayals of scenes with vivid images and metaphors draw you into the vortex of the shadow side of human emotion with Red Dwyer as your midnight guide. Dare to face the abyss.

Flash in the Pan is a flash fiction anthology featuring 13 authors who took The M3 Blog’s challenge to create flash fiction. Great stories in 150 words or less.

After all the opening day frenzy, Red found her way into more book pages.

Flash in the Pan: Frosty, Fiery, Fresh and Feisty Flash Fiction is the second of the FTP productions with 127 shorts from a dozen authors. All the FTP books are available in Kindle, ereader and PDF alongside paperback.

Wave of Emotion, the third installment of the Flash in the Pan series takes you on a roller coaster of emotion which defies you basic happy and sad.

Flashes from the Bistro is 250 flashes from 26 authors. Satisfy your appetite for flash!

Finding the Path is another monster anthology of flash fiction from around the world. Find your path to entertainment with 250 flashes and some of the shortest Hot Flashes to date.

Writing from the great state of Texas, Red is closing in on the next million words.

Meanwhile, press the follow button and enjoy the ride.

Freelance opportunities are welcomed.

get anyone to model them for me being that they were so skimpy 🙂
Yes I am kidding you, well maybe I am? 🙂 Right be careful on those
new spikes of yours as they can be rather dangerous you know? 🙂

Have a wicked rest of evening and
yes another vacation sounds great 🙂

had to drop this reply in here as the new format on our crazy WordPress won’t even let me add a comment on my own Space even when I am signed in… It wants me to sign in again, this will stop a lot of peeps commenting I think? 🙁 How Nuts of them to add this feature…

    • Perhaps, that is what became of the large comment I left for EG about NOLA, Mardi Gras and football last night. Must have been their upgrade time. Thus far, I am not seeing an issue with the three blogs I have here, but it is affecting my commenters…most of them have had to adopt new aliens 🙁

I wondered if perhaps Jen was holding an eight course meal this evening and that was delaying your responses to your fine script this evening. 😉 And I only delete the egregious ones 😉

  7. Hey! I found your blog through… I can’t even remember the chain that led me here, but I really love it — you’re a fantastic writer! I’ll have to explore a bit more to learn about all the butt-hurt emails you receive (Friday Follies). I’d love to list my blog with you; in the meantime, I thought you’d enjoy this post, in thinking about how good you are at responding to your hate-mail fans! http://liveclay.wordpress.com/2011/10/14/pay-your-fing-child-support/

Enjoy. There are plenty of places here which are quite funny. Search “spam” for some extras in the way of shaking your head. Stop by the Green Room and leave a link to your blog. So very nice to meet you, Laura.
