Flash in the Pan

Malcolm snapped his eyes open, and they darted around the closet which passed for his room.

He hurled himself vertical, upended the nightstand and flopped on the floor. He probed under the bed, but all he caught were dust bunnies.

“Ouch!” He banged his head on the floor. “Why didn’t I take it to bed with me?”

  1. I have seven to finish unless I have missed any new adds on the (50 limit) I will have to call back in to see if anything else has been added. I know that I don’t add them in the right sequence either so I hope this is not a problem 🙁

This is probably a dumb question but are the Bistro FTP’s different to the others? When I called into RP I noticed that on mine it says contributor to FTP 1, 2, 3 and 4 but not the Bistro so therefore I figure it must be a different one.

I apologise if I have not contributed to the Bistro one as I intended offering FTP’s for everything so I must have either blinked or maybe just lost the plot, I don’t know? 🙁

Right I will add this one next… Oh and by the way I was unable to change my Profile picture in RP but I will try to figure it out, usually I am spot on with techno but on this occasion it had me stumped 🙁 lol

Have a fun rest of evening Red, oh yes and I really like your FTP for the word Around, it is very good indeed my great friend 🙂

    • Bistro was FTP4, but due to the covering issues I had, it did not have the room to put FTP on the cover. Not to mention, the way every built up the writing this time, its nickname was just going to be Bistro. I may adjust the FTP links when I add Finding the Path because we are going to drop the FTP main title now. You are on the correct set of words, and the order matters not. There is only one more to add, which is the Hot Flash for the first of September. You are moving at a good clip.

If you want to change your profile pic in the War Room, let me know, and I shall point you in the correct direction. If you want a different one on your author page, pop it in the SIB, and I shall change it for you. 😉

      • I have just five words to go now after adding two today, so hopefully I will finish those and the extra September word all in good time, I am certainly enjoying these Red, mainly because we can choose whatever theme to add them in, and this quarter a lot of the words have produced some interesting results, even though I say that myself. I hope that you will enjoy my recent entries, one is of a romantic nature, of which I hope the readers from the Bistro will enjoy.

You could add it as a guest posting if you like, or maybe those are not for guest posts? I mean if it is not entered into the quarterly then it should be okay to use, or just pick anything that I have written on my Space if you need a posting 🙂 Anything to give you some breathing space is what I mean 🙂

Have a lovely evening Red 😉

  3. I can’t help thinking Malcolm is a small boy looking for this stuffed toy, but because he upended the nightstand I’m not so sure. Might it be something he’d stolen?

As always, Red, your flashes are full of possibilities.

    • Boisterous boys can do things with furniture you would at once not believe possible. I like the intrigue of a stolen something. Your imagination is so fertile, Tess. xxx

  4. Hmmm, what is it? Blow up doll, drink or stuffed toy. Is he an adult or small child. His actions don’t seem to be those of a child.

As always you leave us breathless and wondering.
