Flash in the Pan

“Yes, I saw. Can you believe?”

“I wouldn’t be caught dead looking like that.”

“I know you would. Seriously though, how could a wardrobe malfunction not happen?”

“Ha! Maybe next time she could just to have the clothes painted on for real.”

“I saw the look on the chairman’s face. Priceless. I felt sorry for the director. She was so embarrassed.”

“Are you kidding? Pity? I’m ecstatic! I couldn’t have happened to a better person!”

Welcome to "Flash in the Pan"

Welcome to “Flash in the Pan”

This little fashion faux pas is brought to you in exactly 75 words and comes in on the nose for January. This is the last week of the 75 word limit. This week’s word is ecstatic. Stop by the Flash in the Pan page to see who has gotten ahead. There are a few surprises on the list.

This week I tested the concept of writing a flash with only conversation. Did you create the setting from the quotes?

If you have not joined us yet, you invitation is engraved. Click on Flash in the Pan just below the header image to see all the words for this quarter and pick up your free copy of the first edition. The second edition will be out at RedmundPro.com on 01FEB13. You will definitely want a copy!

Happy Flashing!

Is there really one in every office who has no concept how to dress? Have you ever been the victim of a wardrobe malfunction? Is the conversation between men or women or both?

It’s a gal and her best guy pal. They’re some things you can only accurately make fun of with the guy you’d love to sleep with but don’t b/c he’s been exiled to the friend zone.

  4. I once apologized to my boss about my sneakers. Haha I had worried about them being improper at a radio station. He hadn’t even noticed, in fact, he wanted me on the mic. I learned not to apologize ahead of time and bring notice to something other people could care less about. haha

  5. Fortunately I’m usually not wearing anything that can malfunction (I wouldn’t do that to people)… but other than that I have NO clue! 🙂
