    Top o' the morning! After a day out of the office, I am forced to acknowledge the frenzy with which the country is intent on filling boxes and bags for the holiday. In the spirit of gift-giving, I have a favor to ask. Please leave a link to the store of an artisan you know (or your own!). Supporting artisans keeps the world filled with beautiful pieces and keeps the box stores from winning. Support local stores and artisans in your life and share the opportunity to do the same with others! <3 ... See MoreSee Less

Happy Independence Day!

From all of us to all of you…

Have a wonderful

Fourth of July!

Take a moment to remember those who fight, fought, were wounded and died for your freedom.

I will never forget.

What do you do to celebrate Independence Day? What is your favorite memory from the Fourth of July?

  1. I hope you had a wonderful fourth, Red!!!
    Wait… ‘memory’? What is this ‘memory’ you speak of?!

    • You, too, Robert. You do not need a memory. That is what your photographs are for…to remember 😉

      • Problem with photographs is that if you are too lazy to identify the people/places, you tend to forget in 10 years

  2. I am finally catching up!

    You asked, my favorite memory? Gad it was actually 18 years ago, that long?

    We were at the lake house, the entire famdamily. Sitting on the dock shooting fireworks. The baby of the family, she was so darn cute, each time one would go off – even duds – would shout;

    “That’s my favorite!”

    She was six years old at the time. But that saying became a catch phrase for our family from that time on.
