We are taking a detour from our traditional Saturday Evening Post for me to share something with you. A laugh? A sneer? A rant? Why, yes. All of the scoffing laughter and indignant outrage you can muster over what can happen on any given Wednesday.

I want to take a few moments to thank all of those who left supportive comments and sent emails whilst I was away. I appreciate your concern and support. The end of the week was particularly hard for me, and Mantra recognized it early.

We have spoken highly of procrastination on M3. It seems Mantra agrees procrastination is a good thing. This particular poem is not what you expect out of her, for more than just a couple of reasons.

Solitude, Fairies and Mermaids

I have recently been engaged in quite a few discussions about loneliness. The discussion of solitude has been broached. Solitude is a common feature in the poetry on M3. While we have discussed marital/relationship loneliness before, especially loneliness of abandonment (The Leaver), we have not looked into solitude.
