I want to take a few moments to thank all of those who left supportive comments and sent emails whilst I was away. I appreciate your concern and support. The end of the week was particularly hard for me, and Mantra recognized it early.

I have recently been engaged in quite a few discussions about loneliness. The discussion of solitude has been broached. Solitude is a common feature in the poetry on M3. While we have discussed marital/relationship loneliness before, especially loneliness of abandonment (The Leaver), we have not looked into solitude.

This evening’s offering is in keeping with my style. Mantra had very little to do with this one. I hope you enjoy this poem which bears the simple title Wandering.
