Spring is here. Some chill still remains, but the flowers are fighting off the cold. Easter lilies raise their heads toward the sun.

The bunnies are ready to sneak into the garden for a taste of the budding plants.
- Bunnies to hide your eggs.
Be careful not to leave them out too long in the sun.
- May you never find a rotten egg.
Call out the dogs if you must.
- He is a very good tracker and hunter.
Be sure you find these before Mate, Teen and Child come along.
- Many chocolates to melt on your tongue.
You know Mate really did want this in the Easter basket.
- A geek egg for the techies.
Remember the reason for the day is not the gifts we give one another…
- God’s gift to man.
…but the one given at Calvary.
- Celebrate your faith.
Celebrate the resurrection.
- Christ’s resurrection is what makes you Christian.

Weekend at the Arsenic Nuke Ranch, working my ass off helping out friends. They grow corn, delicious zucchini, squash, you name it, just for themselves and friends.
Turns out the jackrabbits -yes cute little bunnies- eat the corn down to the point where they yield is virtually nothing.
By midnight all four of us had decided to take the rifles out (hey, it’s Nevada… what gun registration?) to blast the sweet little bunnies into Bunnie Heaven.
Natch I asked ‘can we eat them?’ Had a husband and boyfriends that hunted but always ate everything they shot.
Nope. Damned cute fuzzy little bunnies are fucking worm-ridden sinewy nasty creatures. Damn, I LOVE Hasenpfeffer.
Luckily everyone was too hungover and we woke up at 8:00 am not dawn.
Bunnies safe….. for now.
Still can’t understand while there was no basket waiting for me with chocolate (liquor)
