Clyde would like to salute Go Daddy for their fabulous service and complete lack of planning. Thanks to a hardware failure, both M3 and RP were down in excess of six hours.
Thank you to everyone who did attempt to visit M3 and RP during the stellar service time. Now, on with the show.

/ April 19, 2013Doesn’t it make you want to host your sites on your own server?
It’s not that difficult but you have to be prepared to keep the electricity and internet connection on all the time.
All ISPs tend to have down-time on their services, especially on their cheaper options.
I use both Namesco and Fast2Host, they have both been pretty good to me.
They have hosted sites I have developed, without too many headaches.
I hope it wasn’t too much of a disruption for you Red.

/ April 23, 2013It was a large annoyance. I have not fully resolved it; Indeed, it makes me want to self-host. I would need a different area, however. It is far from uncommon for wired Internet here to be out in the days range rather than hours.
