I am grateful to know you, even if I’ve only scratched the surface.
I am, in a perverse way, grateful for all the CRAP I’ve been experiencing, for it only serves to remind me it will be balanced out in the end by an equal amount of joy. (My first reply goes a long way toward that…)
As a whole, though, I will go with the sentiment expressed in the opening line; I am NOT sorry to see this one go into the books… At least the one we are heading into will be different, which is not only unavoidable, but, in this case, welcome….

That we’re both still enjoying our favorite routines, I made a few book sales, and I’ve finally broken through the ennui and mild fearfulness to begin painting again (sales of old, old works contributed to renewed energy). Also grateful that, even losing many dear friends and relatives in 2014, I have the blessed hope of seeing them again in the next realm.
