With all the talk of time and managing schedules, M3 had to take the advice to heart and catch up with some of the bloggers who make the blogosphere a wonderful place to work. Today, we are going to shine the light on two such bloggers and then open the door on quite a few more.
Adams Art is a great place to relax and enjoy fabulous paintings and drawings. It is one of those blogs where you can sit back and enjoy the scenery. There was no grand surprise in why Debbie won the Beautiful Blogger Award. The surprise was in her passing it along to M3.
I am not defined. is a blog which I have already pointed out is very definitive. Really good advice to anyone who writes in for it. Add to it a walk in the everyday trenches overcoming the steady stream of stumbling blocks we all encounter. Really simple, just flipping through a few pages, to figure out why IAND won the Versatile Blogger. IAND then passed graciously to M3.
Since both of these awards come with the obligatory secrets and blogs, I am going to cheat just a bit and offer up seven secrets for both instead of each.
Seven
I have entirely too much homework. Homeschooling two children, especially two autistic children, means creating a lot of specialized lessons which can be presented in terms they understand. Considering Little V was already months ahead, I did not think too much about creating more curricula for her…but she has finished all of her lessons for the year.
Six
I am hooked. In the midst of all the coding last week, I needed to relax. I found a game to play online (which completely bites…I cannot buy it.) named ClockWords. I am sixty six levels in, so I decided to replay the game from the beginning before I went ahead and finished it.
Five
I broke out my Stash. After finishing a fabulous bag of Mandheling coffee beans from Sumatra, and feeling a bit under the weather, I settled on a pomegranate raspberry green tea. Stash teas rock.
Four
My dog is a man hater. I knew she was a bit different from the rest of the pups because she was the only liver spotted one of the eleven. I named her after the voices in the head of a character on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She sings very sweetly, morning and evening serenade, but she absolutely does not like men.
Three
I have been researching the necessary steps to opening a bookstore. It just so happens, I know a couple of indie authors and would love to give them a new outlet. Having a discount for the hundreds of books I am destined to buy my children over the course of their lives is merely lagniappe.
Two
Shrimp étoufée…it is what’s for dinner. When you are in need of down home cooking, there is nothing better than shrimp étoufée…except maybe three sacks of boiled crawfish, complete with corn, potatoes, onions and garlic.
One
My favorite feature on M3 is MAD. I am not one to think of myself as inspiring, but the reactions you have had about the ways I bring you to make a difference are humbling. You can call me a dreamer if you need to, but I really do believe we all make a difference. If we cannot change the world entirely, we can certainly make it a better place to live.
Who wins?
As is my custom, I am nominating a few blogs who will not be posting award shows. Presented in reverse alphabetical order…because I can.
I am also nominating some blogs who have not made their way to the Green Room to leave a link for you to find. When you stop in, drop my name. You get a better seat.

The world traveler is on a path to get us all on the adrenaline-starved thrillseekers’ map to good things to do, see and eat. Buckle up.
Binky, Winky and Fraz are constantly into something. Or inventing something. Or selling something. Or something. Save the wombats.
We shan’t be waiting much longer, but in the meantime, there are plenty of nom-noms and laughs to be had.
Lizzie is cracked, but definitely not broken. Mental moments are something we all have, but Lizzie shares. Subscribe. It is worth it.
With three blogs on his website, there is plenty to find. Navigate around, but I sent you to the only page with Muse and Joe Friday.
Kana takes us to the edge of the island and dares us to get into the water. It is warm, after all. Hawai’i is a wonderful home. Take a minute to meet the neighbors.
Who gets what?
Yes. If your blog is named here, you may have both or either, whichever you choose.
Thank you!
Thank you to both Adams Art and IAND for the lovely awards and thinking of M3 when you were handing them out. Thank you to all the M3 Readers. You all are what makes blogging completely worth it.

/ March 24, 2012I do not have a problem with others not doing the award show thing. I just wanted a few of the readers to head to your place for a glass of Power Lemmonade(TM). 😉 What you could do, though, is drop your link in the Green Room. I am quite certain there are plenty who visit there who would stop by to see what the Wombies are up to.

/ March 24, 2012Thanks, Red. It took me a bit to find the Green Room, though. Scrolling up to the very top helped. I didn’t even notice the menu up there! I guess hiding it in plain sight is pretty effective.

Yes, you truly do deserve the award! 🙂
Still very sick so I’m off to bed in a moment – this bug has left me feeling rather rough!
Love and hugs!

/ March 24, 2012Thanks for the nom! You’re right; we WON’T be waiting for much longer, but right now we’re in the thick of it. The waiting….it’s the hardest part 😉
Red
/ March 24, 2012But you know what, Em? When you have her in your arms in the very first seconds, all of the irritation and impatience of the waiting will disappear. Birth is a fabulous eraser of all bad things.
