I may be decorating with a small tree later on. I love getting the tree on Christmas Eve and decorating it then. I have a small space, and a small tree is perfect!

  I am not really big on the holidays, but the children are. I need the pressure of the decorations to keep it up knowing today I have only heard “How many days until December?” 18 times.

Red, your ten footer is amazing! I can only imagine how magnificent it is in person. It is also a perfect tree, so full and so many places for the beautiful decorations you put on it. Your house is a merry place to be.

  It always is. The children make it merry. And there are gobs of places for the small presents to be hidden in the tree. I add them in as the day gets closer.

I have a foot tall plastic tree I stand on my window ledge and that’s it! 🙂

When the kids were little we used to decorate my home, but now they’ve all grown up there’s no point in wasting the money.

Aah fond memories though!!! 😉

  I have so many decorations it does not occur to me it costs anything. When I started collecting, I had a meager budget each year. This year, I have put out less than 1/5 of the decorations and am content there are plenty. 😉

I decorated this week, but I was too lazy at the time to get on a chair and hang the mistletoe so I put it at reachable distance in order to hang up later. Wasn’t thinking about it when I hung it waist high… just now realized lol It’s still there waiting to be hung on the ceiling.

We stopped putting up a tree when we took in Mitchie Foo as a kitten. Tinsel and antique glass and glitter don’t play well with kittens, not to mention evergreen sap and needles.

I didn’t know you guys start decorating this early. I thought people start decorating like a week before Christmas.

I think my friend hasn’t decorated a tree yet. Hehehe I am waiting for her Christmas cookies 😉

  Thank you. I got into the tradition of putting up the tree the day after Thanksgiving. We get an extra week this year bc Thxgvg was early. I like to keep them up until my birthday, but the live tree rarely makes it that long. *grins* I have been baking those myself, and have a request from the short ones in my house for more! <3 xxx
